Why upholstered surfaces need attention
Sofas, chairs, cushions, mattresses and other fabric surfaces are touched and used constantly. Dust, crumbs, body oils, spills, pet debris and everyday residue can settle into fibres even when the item is regularly vacuumed. Targeted cleaning can refresh suitable fabrics, improve the appearance of high-use areas and complete the feeling of a thoroughly cleaned room.
This is especially useful after a spill, during a deep clean, before listing a home or when a frequently used piece has begun to look dull.
What we offer
Depending on the fabric and care label, service may include careful vacuuming, spot-focused pretreatment, gentle agitation and compact upholstery extraction. Steam may be used on suitable surfaces where it is safe and useful. We can assess couches, upholstered chairs, removable cushions, mattresses and selected fabric areas from photos before confirming the quote.
The service can be paired with residential cleaning so the soft surfaces and the surrounding room are refreshed together.
Why we assess the fabric first
Not every material should be treated with moisture, heat or extraction. Colour stability, delicate fibres, age, previous treatments and the type of stain all affect the safest approach. We review labels and condition first, explain realistic expectations and provide drying guidance afterward. We never promise that every stain or odour will disappear.
